Nine young women have joined Tanoa Hotels’ operational development program, gaining hospitality skills and career direction.
The women were recruited in March 2025 after Tanoa Hotels launched “Village Initiative”, its impactful outreach program, in Lomolomo village in Lautoka.
The program offers participants foundational training in hotel operations, preparing them for successful careers in the hospitality industry. Graduates will have the opportunity to work at any of Tanoa Hotels’ six properties in Fiji, plus Samoa and Tonga.
The Village Initiative honours the legacy of the late Mr. YP Reddy, the visionary founder of the Reddy Group, whose commitment to community empowerment continues to inspire Tanoa Hotels’ corporate social responsibility programs. Through this initiative, Tanoa Hotels is creating pathways for youth, fostering sustainable development, and strengthening its community-focused values.
