EXPLORE Fiji was born out of a dream to share vibrant stories, striking photography, and a deep love for Fiji’s culture and everyday experiences with the world. Since January 2003, the brand has celebrated Fiji through compelling storytelling while supporting local businesses, creatives, and communities. Along the way, we earned an award recognising the quality and authenticity of our work.

For 17 years, EXPLORE Fiji was published as a quarterly glossy A5 print tourism magazine. Its handy size and distinctive editorial style saw it widely distributed across Fiji, including on flights, in hotels, cafes, tourism offices, and homes. Copies also travelled overseas, reaching international audiences through tourism and trade offices, expos, and readers who carried the magazine home as a keepsake of their time in Fiji.

Alongside print, EXPLORE Fiji embraced digital formats early. Partial digital editions were introduced using flip-page technology, Issuu, and QR codes, helping bridge the transition between traditional publishing and online discovery.

In August 2024, we completed our digital transformation and became 100% online. No more paper. No more printing. We don’t cut trees anymore. And that’s something we’re very proud of. The brand no longer produces print publications, a move that reflects both changing audience behaviour and a commitment to sustainability.

Today, EXPLORE Fiji is a dynamic, digital-first destination storytelling and discovery platform. It connects travellers with local favourites, cultural experiences, MSMEs (Micro-Small-Medium-Enterprises), creative industries, and authentic island stories. Through digital editorial features, curated content, and business listings, the platform supports sustainable tourism while continuing to champion Fiji’s communities and voices.
