There are days you simply float through Fiji. And then there are days you go under.
Captain Cook Cruises Fiji is giving women every reason to choose the latter on July 18 2026, with a standout offer tied to Women’s Dive Day: a complimentary one-tank dive for every woman who books an Island & Reef Day Sail to Kadavu Lailai in the Mamanuca Islands.
That’s a dive valued from F$295, on the house. Whether you hold a PADI certification or have never strapped on a tank in your life, the invitation is open. Certified divers can head straight for the reef, while first-timers can opt for a Discover Scuba Dive with Captain Cook’s PADI-certified team. No experience is required. Just the willingness to take the plunge.

The sail itself is well worth the day. Departing Port Denarau Marina aboard the majestic tall ship Spirit of the Pacific, the journey to Kadavu Lailai takes just under an hour each way, with morning tea served as the Mamanuca Islands come into view. What awaits is a private beach of white sand and turquoise water, fringed by vibrant coral reefs that more than reward the effort of getting wet.
Five hours on the island gives you room to do as much or as little as you like. Snorkel straight off the beach, paddle out on a kayak or stand-up paddleboard, join a glass-bottom boat tour, or simply settle into a beanbag and let Fiji do its thing. A tropical barbecue lunch with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks is included, along with Fijian cultural entertainment that adds another layer to the experience.

What also sets Captain Cook Cruises Fiji apart is its commitment to marine conservation. Two resident marine biologists join the Island & Reef Day Sail, sharing insights into Fiji’s reefs through guided talks and the opportunity to plant a coral fragment through the Build a Reef programme, where participants earn an Eco-Certificate while contributing to reef restoration.
For Women’s Dive Day, guests are also encouraged to make a suggested F$50 donation to PADI AWARE, helping support ocean conservation programmes beyond Fiji’s shores.
Return hotel transfers from Denarau and surrounding areas are included. Spaces are limited.
If you’ve ever told yourself you’d try diving in Fiji one day, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Women’s Dive Day is celebrated globally on the third Saturday of July each year. The annual event encourages more women to explore the underwater world while promoting ocean conservation and greater participation in diving.
