Fiji’s popular Miss Hibiscus Festival is returning to the capital after a lapse of five years.
Dubbed “The Mother of all Festivals”, this year’s Miss Hibiscus Festival finds a new home under the auspices of the Suva City Council. The eight-day carnival promises to dazzle audiences at Ratu Sukuna Park and surrounding areas, reigniting the spirit of festivity and camaraderie that defines the cherished event.
The colourful Miss Hibiscus Festival marks its 68th year under the careful coordination of the Hibiscus Festival Association, with support from local government and Fiji Airways.
Initially a modest one-night affair, the festival has blossomed in popularity, transforming into a week-long extravaganza that embraced locals and tourists, alike. As the festival grew, it became a cherished tradition in Fiji, embodying the essence of beauty, culture, and community.
