It’s been a good September for InterContinental Fiji at Natadola Bay.
The Natadola Suite at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has been named Fiji’s Leading Hotel Suite for the sixth time at the 2026 World Travel Awards, while Spa InterContinental has taken Fiji’s Best Resort Spa title for the second time at the World Spa Awards.
Both awards recognise different parts of the resort experience, but they share the same stunning setting: Natadola Bay.
The Natadola Suite sits on the Club InterContinental hilltop overlooking the bay, with expansive indoor and outdoor living spaces and sweeping views of the Pacific. Around it, the resort stretches across 35 acres of beachfront tropical gardens and is laid out like a traditional Fijian village. Just 55 minutes from Nadi International Airport, it remains one of Fiji’s most accessible resort escapes on the Coral Coast.
“To be recognised as Fiji’s Leading Hotel Suite for a sixth time is a tremendous achievement and a reflection of the exceptional experiences our team delivers every day,” said Lachlan Walker, Regional General Manager, Fiji and Pacific, IHG Hotels & Resorts.
“The Natadola Suite represents the very best of luxury hospitality in Fiji, combining an extraordinary beachfront setting with genuine Fijian warmth, personalised service and thoughtful attention to detail.”
The honour is voted on by guests and industry professionals, and the sixth win puts consistency alongside the luxury. The Natadola Suite, the resort noted, continues to set the benchmark for premium hospitality in Fiji.
Wellness, Twice Crowned
The suite was not the only Natadola winner in September. Spa InterContinental has been named Fiji’s Best Resort Spa 2026 at the World Spa Awards, its second win after taking the title in 2022.

The spa draws both international travellers and local guests to Natadola Bay, with treatments combining Eastern and Western methods and using native herbs and plants grown in its on-site herb garden. New recovery and wellbeing facilities, including an infrared sauna and a cold plunge, now sit alongside the existing treatments, adding to the spa’s wellness offering.
Winning the title for a second time also highlights the consistency of the resort’s wellness programme and its contribution to Fiji’s growing reputation as a premium destination for wellness tourism.
Where the Winning Goes
Through September, InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, along with its two sister properties in Suva, Grand Pacific Hotel and neighbouring Holiday Inn Suva, raised a combined FJ$60,000 for community causes in Fiji as part of IHG’s Giving for Good Month.

The largest fundraising activity was the Giving for Good Charity Golf Tournament, played on September 26 at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course. The tournament brought together corporate partners, suppliers and supporters from across Fiji’s business and tourism sectors, raising FJ$46,000 towards refurbishment works at Sigatoka Hospital.
Alongside it, a Stay for Good campaign pledged FJ$1 from every eligible room night stayed at the three hotels during September to The Sacred Heart Soup Kitchen in Suva. A total of FJ$14,000 will be donated to help fund meals and care for people facing hardship in the capital.
It makes for a notable month at a bay that continues to draw attention for its setting, its hospitality and the experiences built around it.
